The Yellowstone bison stem from an original population of 25 that survived in Yellowstone during the mass bison killings of the 1800s. The last-known wild bison population in the entire world. Their DNA has been untainted by breeding with cattle and domesticated bison.

Twenty-five per cent of the sales from this print is split between two charities - Pacific Wild and the Northern Lights Wildlife Society in BC, Canada, to help with conservation and rehabilitation of injured wildlife.
