With the arrival of shorter days, we celebrate this change by drawing and painting our local lake at sunset from the Wallarah Peninsula and also spend a page learning some fun new watercolour techniques.

Our art classes are very focused on supporting creative choices and providing a fun, encouraging space to learn in.

Daughter of an artist and a mathematician, I like to fuse together many worlds in my artistic practice and teachings. So the class includes not just artistic techniques, but also storytelling of adventures from the wild and connection to nature and place throughout, to foster the appreciation of the environment and our world, as well as our local area. I like to help your children to discover what that means for them and it’s important to me to help your children nurture their own style too.

ABOUT THE CLASS
Classes are limited to 6 and kept small so that each child gets an opportunity to have some 1-on-1 tutoring during class. Our classes are held in a cottage garden studio in the historic village of Catherine Hill Bay.

* 2 hours of tutoring.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING
We’ll send you some more details beforehand, we encourage clothes you don’t mind getting marks on as it is a working studio. And some paints don’t wash out! I like to dedicate some pretty clothes to painting, so I always feel fab when making art - but of course, that’s up to you! :D
